Waterbury to pay $40,000 for private school books (Republican-American)
Waterbury Mayor Michael J. Jarjura is asking city officials to spend $40,000 buying books for city children attending private schools. The request easily passed the Board of Aldermen and will go before the Board of Education on Monday.
